Tentant and landlord are friends... they decided to enter into a formal lease with a managing agent... landlord introduced tenant to managing agent to draft lease and collect rent and pay for bills... now tentant wants to buy the property and managing agent is claiming estate agent comm on sale... is this ethical?.. as agent did not introduce parties, but simply drafted lease and managed the rental collection and payments... lease agreement states that should a sale be concluded agent id entitled to commission, but landlord did not read the fine print when he signed lease... thanks in advance for the advise
